Ronald I. “Woody” Woodmansee, CLU, CEBS, MSFS, began his insurance career in 1982 after graduating from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Raised in a family insurance business, he earned his CLU®, ChFC®, and CEBS® designations, later completing a Master’s in Financial Services from The American College.

Woody specializes in life and disability income insurance for individuals and businesses, as well as employee benefit plans for small companies. He is known for clear client education and long-term service, supported by his longtime assistant, Alice Silverman.

A published author, Woody has contributed numerous articles and wrote a chapter for the Employee Benefits Handbook. His professional recognition includes multiple National Quality Awards and being named a 40 Under 40 honoree by the Philadelphia Business Journal.

Active in the community, he serves with Sigma Chi’s House Corporation at Penn and has been a longtime member of the Union League of Philadelphia. As a prostate cancer survivor, he is a dedicated supporter of the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life, personally raising over $250,000.

Woody lives in Marlton, New Jersey with his wife, Lynn Thomson, and together they enjoy their blended family of five children and five grandchildren.
